Refund Policy

At Memory Tales, each service is customized specifically for every couple and event. This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and revisions are handled.

1. Nature of Our Services

Our services are customized, digital, creative, and time-based. Work often begins immediately after booking confirmation and content collection.

2. Deposits & Initial Payments

Booking fees, deposits, and initial payments are generally non-refundable once project work has started. This includes:

• Design preparation
• Storyboarding
• Personalization
• Development work
• Setup and hosting preparation

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in situations such as:

• Duplicate payments
• Accidental overpayments
• Inability of Memory Tales to deliver the agreed service
• Cancellation before work has commenced

Approved refunds may take several business days to process depending on payment providers.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be provided for:

• Change of mind after work has started
• Event cancellations after project initiation
• Delays caused by late client responses
• Dissatisfaction based on personal design preference after approvals
• Completed digital deliveries
• Technical issues caused by guest devices or internet connectivity
• Failure of guests to upload content during events

5. Revisions Instead of Refunds

We aim to resolve concerns through reasonable revisions wherever possible. Clients are encouraged to communicate feedback clearly during the design process.

6. Cancellation Policy

If a client cancels:

• Before work begins — a partial or full refund may be considered
• After work has started — payments already used toward completed work are non-refundable
• After final delivery — no refunds will be issued

7. Preservation & Expiry

Digital Invitations — Invitation hosting remains active for 2 months unless an extended preservation plan is purchased.

Memory Walls — Memory walls remain active for 2 years unless an extended preservation plan is purchased.

Extended preservation fees are non-refundable once activated.

8. Technical Issues

Clients should report technical or delivery issues within a reasonable timeframe after discovery. Memory Tales will make reasonable efforts to resolve verified technical problems.

9. Chargebacks

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension or termination of services while the matter is investigated.
